Professional Psychotherapists in Hoboken, NJ
All persons seeking help with their emotional, psychological, behavioral, or interpersonal concerns should be treated with patience, empathy, honesty, and respect. During the initial sessions of the therapeutic process, a partnership between therapist and patient should be reached in order to achieve a mutual understanding of the concerns and desired goals of treatment. The purposeful partnership between therapist and patient is the catalyst that results in a corrective emotional experience, reaching a deeper understanding of oneself. The new self-knowledge improves the ability to manage emotions, enriches relationships, and forges a clearer life path. The style of treatment is caring, yet direct.
